How it works
Also known as facial or facial rejuvenation acupuncture, this treatment draws on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to enhance Qi, blood flow, and overall vitality. Ultra-fine sterile needles stimulate specific points to support collagen and elastin production, boost circulation, encourage lymphatic drainage (reducing puffiness), and lift muscle tone.
A traditional course runs 10–12 sessions; at MIC, we often combine cosmetic acupuncture with microneedling or radiofrequency microneedling to accelerate results. Most clients notice a brighter complexion after the first session, with 6–12 combined treatments recommended for lasting change. Results typically last 6 months to a year, with maintenance visits every 4–6 weeks extending the benefit.
Extremely thin needles mean minimal discomfort — often described as a slight tingling. It's a very safe option: minor temporary redness or bruising may occur but typically fades within hours.
